Derek's Handy OFF-LINE TOOL PALETTE GUIDE

INSTRUCTION PAGE

Now Derek has gone and done it again.

The following page will enable you to save a web archive of the tool palette guide on your machine for use when you are not connected to the internet.

WHAT'S HERE
I've created a page for people to use as a Key for creating an Internet Explorer WEB Archive of a Tool Palette Guide, that is, an off-line file for use at anytime. If you follow the intructions below, you will create a 6+MB file on your computer which is a 'snap shot' of all the tool descriptions at the time you create the file. It WILL NOT UPDATE if the tool descriptions are changed at the PowerCADD or WildTools sites. I therefore strongly recommend you use the online page whenever possible.

WARNINGS
If you are on a broadband connection you will have enough time for a cup of coffee during the download process. If you are on a dial-up connection (56k or less) you will probably have enough time for a short holiday!

INTRUCTIONS
Below is a link to bring up the key page in a new window. Once you have the page open, follow these steps to create your own archive file.

1. With the key page open in Internet Explorer select Save As... from the file menu.

2. Give the file whatever name you like.

3. Select WEB Archive as the format.

4. Go into the Options and set as follows:

5. Hit OK and you're off!

If you have any problems using this page please DO NOT contact the creators of PowerCADD or WildTools. You can contact me here if you have any comments or bugs to report. Alternatively you can post in the PowerCADD forum.

Happy CADDing.

Derek Dubout.
